Pondering whether, when, and how to innovate with digital technologies, managers are navigating a complex and dynamic landscape. To help with this challenging undertaking, we draw on organizational ecology and network theories to conceptualize the organizational communities that support digital innovations. Empirically, we analyzed news articles about Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and its stakeholders and found that organizations' strategy to provide or adopt the CRM technology depended on two ecological processes: (1) legitimation of CRM attracted organizations to enter the CRM community; (2) competition for resources deterred such entries. Further, more efficient structure of the community was linked to higher rate of entry by organizations to provide the CRM technology. This study brings organizational ecology theory from the population/industry level to the higher, community level, contributes a holistic perspective to the repertoire of theories on digital innovations, and demonstrates the potential to advance digital innovation strategy research along multiple dimensions.

Web services composition is becoming increasingly important as the 3rd part service providers are now getting ready to provide more complex service-based applications. Accordingly it is critical to integrate the business policy with web service composition dynamically to adapt to changing business environments. Business policy needs to be represented explicitly, to be understood by semantics, and to be applied automatically. To support the business control in the interactive web service composition, this paper proposed a SWRL-based business policy model which does the rule reasoning based on semantics. And a business policy driven services recommend method was present to apply this model to the web service composition, which bridges the gap between business requirements and academic research. As a result, 3rd part service providers can focus on the business goals to be achieved, instead of having to create detailed control and data follows for the work at hand.

As the competition of Web Search market increases, there is a high demand for accurately judging the relations between the web pages and the user's requirement. In this paper, we propose an information retrieval method that tightly integrates description logic reasoning and traditional information retrieval technique. The method expresses the user's search intention by description logic to infer the user's search object, and selects high-quality keywords according to the semantic context of the search object. Further, fuzzy describing logic is introduced to confirm the relations between the web pages and the user's search requirement, and the method to calculate the membership degree of web pages w.r.t the search requirement is presented. A prototype is implemented and evaluated, and the results show large improvements over existing methods.

There are many obstacles in the development of the prefabricated concrete enterprises in the process of advancing prefabricated buildings. These enterprises have to face lots of difficulties in choosing their development strategies, which have greatly affected China's progress of boosting prefabricated buildings. In this paper, some qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation methods are combined to analyze the advantages, weaknesses, opportunities, and menaces of the prefabricated concrete enterprises in China based on data analysis results and reference literatures. A hierarchical analysis model is built to calculate the weight of S judgment matrices, W judgment matrices, O judgment matrices, and T judgment matrices. According to the calculation results, the strategic quadrilateral is drawn. Then we calculate the center of gravity of it. According to the center of gravity location in the quadrangular quadrant, the strategy of enterprise development is obtained. The result shows that it is a new approach for enterprises to scientifically choose their development strategy by using SWOT-AHP method.

Semantic service composition is an important issue in web service based systems. It is about how to build a new, reusable and value-added service by combining existing semantic web services. In this paper we propose a new hyper-graph based method supporting semantic service composition, which model the service composition problem as a hyper-graph. Then the hyper-graph based service composition algorithm has been implemented and evaluated. The evaluation results have shown that the method can effectively reduce the composition time and has good robustness, especially in the case of large number of web services and concepts.
